How we structure learning at Napa Group
We don't run courses the way most providers do. Instead of a fixed-pace syllabus delivered to a large group, we structure each course as a guided conversation. The facilitator introduces a topic, explains it clearly, answers questions immediately, and only moves forward when the group is ready.
Sessions are structured but not rigid. Printed materials accompany each topic and participants work through these at home between sessions, which means time in the room is spent discussing, clarifying, and exploring rather than copying information from a slide.
Course One
The First Cup
฿4,300 — three sessions
A gentle three-session introduction for midlife learners who are beginning to talk through their money matters. The course covers everyday budgeting, the basics of Thai banking accounts, and a practical look at saving — starting from wherever you are and taking each step at a comfortable pace. Printed guides and light practice sheets accompany each session, and no prior knowledge is assumed.
Best suited to people who are new to thinking about their finances in a structured way, or who have found other courses too fast-paced or too focused on investment products.
What the course covers
- Understanding where your money goes — a plain-language look at income and outgoings
- Thai savings and current accounts — what they do, how they differ, and what to look for
- Building a simple saving habit — small, workable steps that fit real life
- Questions you've always wanted to ask about money but weren't sure where to
How it works, session by session
- 1.
Budgeting and everyday money — a conversational overview of household finances
- 2.
Thai banking explained — accounts, transfers, interest, and common questions
- 3.
Starting to save — practical approaches and a review of everything covered
Course Two
A Longer Conversation
฿7,100 — six weekly sessions
A six-week course for people who are ready to understand their finances more fully. The course explores steady saving strategies, Thai fixed deposits and mutual fund basics, and planning for foreseeable costs such as healthcare, housing, and family needs. Each weekly session includes a short lesson and a gentle worksheet for review at home. Recorded sessions are provided for reference.
Well suited to people who have the basics in place and want a supportive structure to go further — whether they've completed The First Cup or simply come with some prior experience of managing their own money.

Course Three
The Long Afternoon Programme
฿10,200 — ten guided sessions
A ten-week guided programme for people who are planning thoughtfully toward retirement and family wellbeing. The course addresses Thai pension and provident fund structures, healthcare costs in later life, estate and inheritance considerations under Thai law (in general terms), and a longer-term view of financial decision-making. We always encourage participants to consult a licensed professional alongside this course for personal advice.
Best suited to people who want a complete, unhurried conversation about the financial landscape ahead of them — whether retirement is five years away or twenty.
